Share your ideas, technologies and insights with the Space Components community
For the 2027 edition, the Space Components Conference will open a dedicated Call for Ideas around the key topics of the event.
This initiative invites companies, research centres, institutions, universities, start-ups and technical experts to submit ideas, technologies, projects, case studies or innovation proposals that can contribute to the discussion and knowledge exchange during the conference.
Selected contributions may be presented either as a poster or as an oral presentation, depending on the nature of the proposal, the available programme slots and the final decision of the organisation.
A platform to present relevant ideas to a specialised audience
The Call for Ideas is designed to give visibility to relevant initiatives in the fields of space, aerospace, electronics, components, technologies and innovation.
It is an opportunity to:
- Present new ideas, technologies or technical approaches
- Share research, developments or lessons learned
- Showcase innovative products, services or capabilities
- Connect with a highly specialised technical audience
- Contribute to the discussion around the main topics of the event
- Create new opportunities for collaboration and visibility
Whether you are working on an emerging solution, a mature technology, an R&D project or a practical application for the space components sector, this call offers a professional framework to share your contribution with the community.
Presentation formats
Participants submitting an idea will be able to indicate their preferred presentation format:
Oral Presentation
Oral presentations will give selected contributors the opportunity to present their proposal within the conference programme.
This format is especially suitable for ideas, technologies or case studies that can provide strong technical value, practical insights or relevant discussion for the audience.
The final allocation of oral presentations will depend on the review process, programme structure and available speaking slots.
Poster Presentation
Poster presentations will allow participants to showcase their idea, technology, project or case study in a visual and accessible format during the event.
The availability of poster spaces will be subject to the final organisation of the event, venue capacity and the number of selected proposals.

The Call for Ideas is open to organisations and professionals involved in the space components ecosystem, including:
- Companies and industry suppliers
- Research and technology centres
- Universities and academic groups
- Space and aerospace organisations
- Electronics and components specialists
- Start-ups and innovation-driven companies
- Institutional and technical stakeholders
Topics of interest
Submitted ideas should be aligned with the main topics of the Space Components Conference 2027.
Proposals may address technologies, applications, challenges, lessons learned, development projects, testing approaches, reliability, manufacturing, innovation, or any other subject relevant to the space components community.
Selection process
All submitted ideas will be reviewed by the organisation.
The review process will consider the relevance, technical value, clarity and alignment of each proposal with the topics of the event.
Selected contributors will be informed of the accepted presentation format: poster or oral presentation.
Please note that indicating a preferred format does not guarantee final allocation. The organisation will confirm the most suitable format for each accepted contribution.
